Den lange flyturen var endelig over og vi hadde ankommet Etiopia! Visste du at det er vanskelig \u00e5 sove p\u00e5 fly? Om vi ikke var like klar over det f\u00f8r reisen, fikk vi i hvert fall erfare det n\u00e5. Da var det enda godt at vi hadde et par timer til \u00e5 slappe av, dusje og spise f\u00f8r dagen stod for tur.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Enorme kulturforskjeller<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>I Etiopia er det alltid mer plass enn man tror. Det er eksempelvis ikke noe problem \u00e5 stappe inn fem personer til i en allerede full taxibuss. Heldigvis for oss holdes gudstjenestene her p\u00e5 engelsk, s\u00e5 n\u00e5r lovsangen best\u00e5r av kjente utgivelser fra Hillsong kjennes det godt \u00e5 kunne ta del i det. Mens vi andre koste oss med tunfisk og gr\u00f8nn, etiopisk pepper (ekstremt sterk) p\u00e5 pizzaen, endte allergikeren opp med avokado- og chilisalat. Det bar f\u00f8rst til n\u00e6rmeste minibank hvor et par av oss fikk tatt ut litt etiopiske birr f\u00f8r det var tomt. Videre til supermarkedet uten at vi ble p\u00e5kj\u00f8rt. Vi lever i beste velg\u00e5ende.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Dagens h\u00f8ydepunkt<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Dagens klare h\u00f8ydepunkt var derimot Young Adults. Gjestfriheten er s\u00e5 enorm at vi ikke helt vet hvordan vi kan beskrive det p\u00e5 en tiln\u00e6rmet ok m\u00e5te. Det som her kanskje skiller seg ut spesielt fra Norge er lovsangsledelsen, kanskje mest i utf\u00f8relse. Vi, Emilie, Mari og Ingjerd, ble invitert med og sang <em>O store Gud<\/em> p\u00e5 norsk, i tillegg til \u00e5 nynne med p\u00e5 amharisk og kore p\u00e5 <em>Oceans<\/em>. Selve utf\u00f8relsen skjer nesten rent a capella, med kun litt rytmisk piano og klapping for \u00e5 holde takten.
