Ja, det er fortsatt lenge igjen til vi ser familiene v\u00e5res hjemme. Likevel  skal jeg \u00e6rlig si at jeg aldri s\u00e5 for meg at vi skulle bli tatt imot  s\u00e5 godt som vi ble. Vi har f\u00e5tt oss nye venner, b\u00e5de barn, ungdommer og voksne, og det er flere familier fra menigheten som har invitert oss hjem til seg. En av disse familiene er pastorfamilien, som vi var s\u00e5 heldige \u00e5 f\u00e5 feire nytt\u00e5r med.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Den 31. v\u00e5knet vi som vanlig med vakkert v\u00e6r, frokost med fuglekvitring og gresshoppelyder ute i hagen. Da klokken n\u00e6rmet seg tre, stod pastors\u00f8nnene utenfor porten til hagen og klappet (ofte gir Paraguayanere en liten applaus i stedet for \u00e5 banke p\u00e5) f\u00f8r de gikk inn. Begge disse dagene handler om familie, venner, mat og raketter. Vi spiste masse god mat sent om kvelden, og da klokken bikket tolv var hele himmelen dekket av raketter. Vi er n\u00e5 blitt proffe (ish) i \u00e5 lage urte-teen Terer\u00e9, Tortilla, Milanesa og Cleriko, l\u00e6rt oss noen av de spanske lovsangene, og sist men ikke minst har spansken og guaranien v\u00e5res blitt bittelitt bedre. H\u00e5per vi. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Januar er den varmeste m\u00e5neden i \u00e5ret, s\u00e5 da har vi en gyllen mulighet til \u00e5 pr\u00f8ve ut de mange forskjellige fruktene som landet er velsignet med. Vannmelonen er n\u00e5 for tiden nesten gratis og mangoene ligger str\u00f8dd rundt i hagen.
