Disse kloke ordene fikk vi h\u00f8re fra v\u00e5r mentor Yonas. Vi syns det forklarer det etiopiske folket utrolig godt. Her sier man hei til alle man m\u00f8ter, stapper taxier s\u00e5 fulle at folk m\u00e5 sitte p\u00e5 fanget til hverandre, spiser mat fra samme tallerken og mater hverandre. Vi kan trygt si at det er stikk motsatt den norske kulturen. Men vet dere hva? Vi digger det! Etiopierne f\u00e5r oss virkelig til \u00e5 f\u00f8le oss som hjemme med deres kj\u00e6rlighet og godhet. Dette er et land fylt av frodige farger, h\u00f8ye bygninger, sm\u00e5 skjul og h\u00f8ylytte mennesker. Vi har blitt godt kjent med mentoren v\u00e5r Yonas, som er en fantastisk mann. Han stiller opp og ordner alt. Det er veldig kjekt \u00e5 kunne st\u00f8tte seg p\u00e5 han.<\/p>\n<p>Beslinta er driveren p\u00e5 gjestehuset vi bor p\u00e5, og fikser s\u00e5nn at vi skal ha det best mulig her. Jeg vil g\u00e5 s\u00e5 langt \u00e5 kalle henne \u00abEtiopisk mamma nr 1.\u00bb Et stort pluss er at hun l\u00e6rte oss \u00e5 danse litt etiopisk dans, som egentlig er tabu her i Etiopia. P\u00e5 gjestehuset har vi to vakter, som gj\u00f8r at vi f\u00f8ler oss trygge. Vi har blitt spesielt godt kjent med han ene, som heter Getu. Han er en mann med et hjerte av gull, og jeg tror vi alle er litt sjarmert av han. (Hvert fall Johanne).<\/p>\n<p>Yonas og Getu har lagd giro, en etiopisk rett, til oss og det slo virkelig an. N\u00e5r man spiser injera, bruker man hendene, alt er p\u00e5 samme tallerken, og man mater hverandre for \u00e5 vise kj\u00e6rlighet. Dette er veldig nytt for oss norske jenter, men vi l\u00e6rer. Det er utfordrende og vanskelig, men samtidig interessant og g\u00f8y n\u00e5r vi f\u00f8rst f\u00e5r til \u00e5 bruke noen ord. N\u00e5r vi g\u00e5r p\u00e5 gata roper ofte etiopierne \u00abforeign\u00bb, og da roper vi \u00abhabesha\u00bb (innf\u00f8dt) tilbake, og da ler de godt. I tillegg har vi allerede f\u00e5tt mange frieri, og Hanne Therese innr\u00f8mmer at det frister \u00e5 si ja noen ganger. Hvordan skal dette g\u00e5?<\/p>\n<p>Taxi-turene er et av h\u00f8ydepunktene hittil. Da kommer vi veldig tett innp\u00e5 den etiopiske kulturen. Risikoen for \u00e5 bli frastj\u00e5let noe og \u00e5 bli rundlurt er stor, men det glemmes fort n\u00e5r vi er tr\u00f8kt inni taxien. Da er de fleste veldig oppmerksomme p\u00e5 oss, og mange pr\u00f8ver \u00e5 snakke til oss p\u00e5 enten amharisk eller engelsk. En dame hadde latterkrampe hele turen p\u00e5 grunn av oss. En taxi er beregnet for 12 stykker, og til n\u00e5 er rekorden v\u00e5r 24 p\u00e5 antall mennesker i en taxi. Vi gikk forbi My Sisters, som er dagsenteret vi skal jobbe p\u00e5, og kvinnene der m\u00f8tte oss med en enorm kj\u00e6rlighet og omsorg. De ville vite hvordan det gikk med oss, foreldrene v\u00e5re og s\u00f8sknene v\u00e5re, selv om vi aldri hadde m\u00f8tt dem f\u00f8r.<\/p>\n<p>Det har foreg\u00e5tt mye forskjellig denne uken, men vi har ogs\u00e5 f\u00e5tt tid til \u00e5 chille max, som v\u00e5r veileder Einar r\u00e5der oss til. P\u00e5 formiddagene spiser vi deilig frokost, blir servert etiopisk kaffe, slikker sol og spiller volleyball. Dette er absolutt noe vi kan vende oss til. Vi er ogs\u00e5 flinke til \u00e5 ta med oss Gud i det vi gj\u00f8r, og vi f\u00f8ler oss velsigna og trygge. Noen er veldig flinke til \u00e5 f\u00f8lge bibelleseplanen, vi ber sammen hver dag, synger velsignelsen hvis vi f\u00f8ler for det og ber kanskje en stille b\u00f8nn f\u00f8r man setter seg inn i taxien.<\/p>\n<p>Mange etiopiere er tydelig kristne, og det er b\u00e5de inspirerende og trygt. Vi takker for alle som ber for oss og f\u00f8lger med p\u00e5 reisen v\u00e5r!
